Connecticut Businesses Enriching Scholars Together Program (CT B.E.S.T.)

What is Connecticut B.E.S.T.?

Connecticut B.E.S.T. is a program that brings the business and early childhood communities together, offering a preschool program for children who otherwise would miss having a preschool experience.

Who will benefit from Connecticut B.E.S.T.?

Connecticut B.E.S.T. will focus on children four years of age, from families whose socio-economic situation impacts their ability to acquire a quality early childhood education.

Where will the preschool program be held?

Connecticut B.E.S.T. was piloted here at Susanna Wesley School during the 2013-14 school year. The 4 year old program is currently offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12:30PM-3:30PM.

Why is preschool so Important?

Children who attend a preschool program fare better in school. Studies prove that children who had a preschool experience arrive at school ready to learn. They have a larger vocabulary, stronger social skills and they are able to build on this foundation throughout their entire school experience.
